Beautiful functional soap dishes from Tom Knowles Jackson for Soap Folk.
Featuring an elegant smooth finish with three drainage holes, these handmade soap dishes will help your bar of soap to dry out in between use.
Each piece has been hand thrown by Tom in his Gloucestershire based studio and finished with his own blend of glazes.

Cobalt Blue - deep blue glaze with a semi-matte finish. Classic yet contemporary, this glaze will suit most settings.
Crystal Blue - soft ice blue plays with deeper blue to create glaze effects completely unique to each piece.
Jade Green - the play between green and blue creates an almost mother-of-pearl gloss like finish.
As a handmade item, each dish will be unique in character and finish of glaze. The base of the soap dish is unglazed to sit securely on any worktop.
Tom Knowles Jackson works from his Stroud based studio, which sits alongside the Soap Folk workshop. He makes high fired stoneware, using a small range of his own glazes derived from iron, copper and wood ash. His work is focused on creating beautiful, usable ceramics.
From the same site, Tom also runs an open ceramic studio The Clayloft, a lively and creative space for beginners and experienced potters alike.
