We’ve been getting creative in the Soapery this month with a Valentine’s themed crafternoon and decorating the Soap Folk dresser with a big dollop of love. Valentine’s Day might not be everybody’s thing, but it is fun and goodness knows, we all need that this year!
As life has been rather disrupted for our small Soap Folk team (think homeschooling!) we've been grateful for the extra pair of creative hands to help us create this colourful, heart filled display.
This is such a lovely idea from Danny for using our leftover soap wraps. They are the perfect size to make these woven paper hearts. We were given a helping hand with our hearts by Danny’s six year old daughter, Robin, taking a break from all that phonics practice!
Soap carving really is the most mindful activity. All you need is a table knife and off you go. Any soap will do, but we find the the smaller pieces of our All Kinds a good starting point. We had some help from Matilda (15) with these hearts. Don't they look like little gemstones laid out on this soap dish?
Our selection of ideas for Valentine gifting from cards for sending mesages of love to pampering body oil (also quite nice for a spot of self-gifting!)
