Salary: Soap Folk is an accredited Living Wage Employer and our starting salary is £13.45 per hour

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join our team in Inchbrook. We need a reliable team player who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the production process from start to finish.

Your responsibilities
This is a largely hands-on role and responsibilities can change quickly to meet the demands of the day. With a product range which includes, soaps, natural skincare, ceramic soap dishes and pillows, there are always plenty of ways to help. This means you could spend the morning helping to make soap and the afternoon boxing up orders. Everyday is different in a small and conscientious team.
Weighing up ingredients accurately for the daily production schedule
Mixing, pouring and blending a range of soaps and skincare products
Assembling and wrapping products to a high standard of quality and presentation
Packing orders for online and wholesale orders efficiently and accurately
Upholding the company’s safety and manufacturing guidelines at all times
Experience
Ideally, you will have previous work experience of a busy production environment, such as a catering or manufacturing, where you can demonstrate you can keep calm under pressure and able to switch between tasks to meet the priorities of the day. However, what’s more important to us, is aptitude and attitude.
