This week is Organic Beauty and Wellbeing Week, an initiative by the Soil Association, the UK’s largest organic certification body to encourage consumers make swaps in their beauty routine to organic alternatives that are kinder to the earth.

What's in your washkit?

Many more of us are becoming aware of the heavy toll our lifestyle choices place on the environment and are ditching the plastic bottles in favour of the humble bar of soap.

Free from unnecessary packaging and harmful microbeads, bar soap makes a great ethical and plastic-free substitute for liquid soaps, body washes and shower gels.

Could you go one step further and make the swap to organic soap?

Look for the logo

When you buy certified organic soap, you know you made the kindest choice to the environment.

At Soap Folk, we're proud to be certified organic by the Soil Association. Look out for the logo - that tells you that our soaps are made from sustainably sourced organic ingredients, natural scents and colours, biodegradable and recycled packaging.

.

You'll find Soap Folk down the pub this week (no really)

To celebrate Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week, Soap Folk will be teaming up with fellow Stroud based Certified Organic producers, Stroud Brewery. Our little minis, sample sized soap bars, will be appearing at the bar and in the cloakroom all week to tempt staff and patrons alike to ditch their handwash in favour of organic soap bars.

How to get involved in Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Week

If you would like to find out more about the wonderful brands offering Organic products and to get involved in the organic movement head over to the Soil Association
