Because our soaps are made entirely by hand, not by machine and no two batches are ever the same. Every week, we make, cut, stamp, cure, and wrap thousands of bars, and that handcrafted process means some soaps don’t come out quite as expected. But these imperfections are only ever skin deep. A dent, a ripple, or an uneven edge doesn’t change what really matters. Every bar still delivers the same beautiful scent, the same rich, creamy lather, and the same gentle care for your skin. Judging a soap as “second best” purely on appearance is exactly what leads to unnecessary waste.
If a bar doesn’t quite meet our standards for our wrapped soap, we simply gather it up and give it a new home in our unapologetically imperfect, All Kinds collection. Our All Kinds Soap Offcuts are a mix of shapes, sizes, scents, and the occasional wonky edge. It’s a great-value way to stock up on natural, handmade soap while helping us reduce waste in our workshop.
We launched the All Kinds Project in 2020 as a way to give back - donating surplus and off-cut soaps to food banks and community groups across the UK and beyond, even reaching as far as Ukraine.
